Thanks for using ZeroTrace Uninstaller. Here's how to get help.

Getting help

  • Email support: support@zerotraceuninstaller.com
  • Documentation: see the README and the in-app help text on each screen.
  • Updates: use Check for updates… inside the app, or download the latest signed release from our official channels.

Before you reach out

You can resolve many situations yourself, because ZeroTrace is reversible by design:

  • Undo a removal: open the Quarantine browser and choose Restore on any item. Removals are backed up before they happen.
  • A removal needs a restart: some uninstallers finish on reboot. ZeroTrace reports this honestly and can resume after the restart.
  • An app has no working uninstaller: use Force uninstall…, which still goes through the reversible review-and-quarantine flow.
  • Something looks shared: items that may belong to other software are marked Shared and are never removed automatically — that is intended.

When reporting a problem

To help us help you quickly, please include:

  1. The ZeroTrace version (shown in the app).
  2. Your Windows version (e.g. Windows 11 23H2, x64).
  3. What you were doing and what happened (and what you expected).
  4. Relevant entries from the local log at %LocalAppData%\ZeroTrace\logs (these contain only actions and paths — never file contents or personal data; review before sending).

Security issues: please do not report vulnerabilities through ordinary support. See SECURITY.md for private disclosure.

Response expectations

We are a small developer and aim to respond to support requests within a few business days. Acknowledgement does not guarantee a fix on any particular timeline, but we read everything.
